Our Mission

Our Mission

Our life has been impacted by so many people in so many ways.  We have decided we want to find ways to give back to those who have helped form us, as well as the entities who have kept our daughter in the very best health.  We have taken the time to complete the steps necessary to open our own fund (Pease Baseball Family Fund) through the Community Foundation of Frederick County.  Our fund is a ‘Donors Advised’ fund.  Once our fund reaches fruition, we will be able to donate to different charities of our choosing, as well as donations to certain programs. A significant portion of our giving will go toward “Breakthrough T1D” formerly known as Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, an organization that specializes in research to provide support to those living with Diabetes, as well as ultimately finding a cure. Type 1 diabetes is one of the most common childhood chronic diseases, affecting about 1 in 400 children under the age of 20. It is a lifelong disease with no cure.  We also feel extremely connected to Children’s National Hospital, who did an incredible job of taking care of Isabella, getting her stable, while providing the most outstanding support any parents could have asked for in terms of helping us live a new normal. These were some of the scariest moments in our lives, and they helped ease this transition into a new life. We couldn’t be more thankful!

Baseball has also opened up so many doors for our family, and our growth.  Providing enrichment to local baseball programs in the surrounding areas is something we feel called to as well. Baseball has given us so much, and we want to give back!

Once our fund reaches fruition, we will be able to make donations to the charities / programs / entities / causes of our choosing.  We thank you for connecting with our story, and helping us toward our goals.  We are incredibly thankful for your support, trust, participation in any of our charity events, as well as direct donation to the Pease Baseball Family Fund, housed by The Community Foundation of Frederick County.
